It all started
with the Genesis One (Metro Line) at Zeta Lambda Chapter at Uconn that consisted of four Central CT State University undergrad students. Who at
that time made a decision by wanting to be apart of one of the greatest organization known to man. During the late 70’s
Black Greek organization were very slim at CCSU so they attended a Greek informational at the University of Connecticut and
that is when they fell in love with SIGMA.

After the chapter was charted there weren't any new initiates in to the chapter which meant the chapter was deactivated. Nearly
28 years later the chapter was re-established by Phoenix line summer 03’ and the Resurrection line Spring 04’
(Metro Lines) in New Haven which was run by Delta Iota Sigma Alumni Chapter.
